Prospective candiates and members of the public can receive up to date information from the NSW Electoral Commission website at http://www.elections.nsw.gov.au/

For the 2008 Local Government Elections the NSW Electoral Commission has provided Councils with a Non-residential Roll Application form (LG.127).

The form is for Inclusion in the Roll of Non-residential Owners of Rateable Land or the Roll of Occupiers and Ratepaying Lessees. The rear of the form includes definitions of terms used in the form and references to the applicable Act and/or Regulations.

A person can only be enrolled once in a Local Government Area and therefore cannot be on the residential roll and also a non-residential roll. An individual or group querying their eligibility to enrol are advised to seek their own independent advice.
