Brewarrina Shire is integrally involved in the planning of the Brewarrina township and its outlying areas. Brewarrina, in particular, is experiencing considerable development through its Community Development Program. This Program involves a budget of approximately $12 million. The Dormitory Building to the right is an example of major development in Brewarrina over recent years.
